CHANDLER, MRS. DOROTHY NELL Mrs. Dorothy Nell Chandler, 81, of Concord, AL, passed away October 19, 2012. She was a member of Concord Highland Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for more than 50 years. She worked for the Jefferson County Board of Education as a lunchroom worker at Pleasant Grove Elementary School. She and her husband were survivors of the April 27, 2011 tornado. She is survived by her husband Austin Chandler; daughters, Sue Chandler McCutcheon (James), and Laura Chandler Moss (Tim); grandchildren, Jammye McCutcheon Holmes (Eric), James Chandler McCutcheon (Ashley), Laura Michelle Angers, Matthew David Moss, Michele Hancock (Brian); great grandchildren, Katelyn Marie Holmes, Joshua Philip Holmes; step great grandchildren, Baylie Hancock, Logan Hancock. Visitation: 12:30 until 2:00 PM, Monday, October 22, 2012, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service: 2:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral home, Rev. Richard Larson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. >
