Mrs. MIldred Fordham Williams Metter - Mrs. Mildred Fordham Williams, 93, died Wednesday at Candler County Hospital. The Emanuel County native and lifelong resident was the widow of Allen Williams. She was a member of the former Union Community Homemakers Club and enjoyed sewing, quilting and baking. Survivors are four sons and daughters-in-law, Wilden and Ann Williams, Wayne and Pam Williams, Ben and Anna Williams, all of Metter, Jerry and Bess Williams of Macon; one sister, Elizabeth Brown of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren, Nancy Williams, Howard Williams, Tonyha Williams, Tami Towsley, Darrell Williams, Patty Williams,, Jennifer Manuel, Michael Parker and April Olsen, sixteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral service: 11 a.m., Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial: El Bethel Cemetery.
