HARDIN, MIRIAM FRANCES, 96, passed away on November 10, 2004. She was born on September 11, 1908 in Asheville, NC, to John E. and Undine B. Hardin. Miriam received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina College in 1930 and a Master's of Arts degree from Columbia University in New York City. In addition to the higher degree, she was awarded a special diploma given by the University for "unusually excellent work." In 1945, Miriam and her mother and sisters; Dorothy (deceased in 1996) and Margaret (deceased in 2002) moved to their home on Richmond Avenue in Orlando. The Hardin ladies lived in the home until Wednesday, when Miriam went to join her family. There will be a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 16th at 3PM.
