BELMONT -- Mildred Mae (Davis) Smith, 95, died May 8, 2010, at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. She was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Candia, to Benson W. and Elizabeth M. (Small) Davis. She attended school in Epping, Franklin and Belmont, and Sanford, Maine and Adelphia, N.J.. She was former member of the New Hampshire Grange. She enjoyed bowling and doing puzzles. She worked for GTE Sylvania in Hillsborough and Sprague Electric Company in Concord for 13 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Farrar. Family members include three daughters, Beverly A. Gee of Hillsborough, Christine Mae Goodwin of Belmont and Betty Louise Simineau of Newport; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School Street, Hillsborough.
