MICHAEL A. "MICKEY" SMITH - GEORGIA - Michael A. "Mickey" Smith, 74, of Highbridge Road, died Saturday morning, Sept. 7, 2013, at his home in Georgia. Mickey was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Burlington, the son of the late Clyde and Phyllis Lafayette Smith. A man of many talents, he loved to drive trucks. He was employed as a milk hauler, and for a time drove gasoline tankers. He also owned and operated his own dump truck. Mickey was married to Jacqueline Sawyer who survives him. Besides his wife, Jackie of Georgia, he leaves his children, Michael A. Smith Jr. and wife, Tina, of Alburgh, Scott Smith of St. Albans, Brian Smith of Alburgh, Bonnie Smith of California, and Beth Smith of California; the mother of his children, Brenda Smith of Milton; his and Jackie's son, Nicholas Smith of Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Judy Bilodeau of Milton. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Smith on Jan. 12, 1988. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Hope Cemetery in Georgia.
