WILLIAMS, MAURINE SANDRA, 66, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a lengthy illness. Formerly of Orlando, she was a resident of Tupelo for the past 20 plus years. She was retired after over 20 years as an employee of the Regional Rehabilitation Center in Tupelo as an Occupational Therapist. She was a graduate of Texas State College for Women, where she graduated as an Occupational Therapist. She was a very active member of the Good News Church where she was a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Tupelo Pilot Club and the Aglow Fellowship. She was an accomplished artist, an avid reader and loved helping children. Services were held Thursday June 12 at the Good News Church with the Rev. Cecil Pumphrey officiating. Burial in Tupelo Memorial Park. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include one brother, Robert M. Williams Jr. of Orlando. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. Williams Sr. and Elizabeth N. Williams.
