CARTER, Maudie Jones, 86 years old of Billingsley, Alabama, died Monday, November 14, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Autau-ga Co., Alabama, daughter of the late William Wilson Jones and the late Mary Alice Billingsley Jones. Surviving are three sons, Mr. William Jesse (Bernice) Carter of Montgom-ery, AL, Mr. James (Nancy) Carter of Autaugaville, AL, Mr. Gerald (Kay) Carter of Billingsley, AL; eight grandchildren to be Pallbearers; seven grandsons, one grand-daughter, Mr. Jeff(Lisa) Carter of At-lanta, GA, Mr. Jason (Jenny) Carter, Atlanta, GA, Mr. Lee (Colbi) Carter of Tuscaloosa, AL, Mr. Kyle Carter of Autaugaville, AL, Mr. Blake (Ama-nda) Carter of Autaugaville, AL, Mr. Brian (Brooke) Carter of Helena, AL, Mr. Jeremy Carter of Billingsley, AL, Miss Alison Carter, Billingsley, AL; great granddaughter, Miss Caitlin, Carter of Atlanta, GA; great grand-son, Master Ford Carter of Tuscaloo-sa, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jesse Lee Cart-er. She was a lifelong resident of Autauga County and Indian Grave Baptist Church, where she served as music director for over 40 years. Friends will be received 6-8, Tues-day, November 15 at Martin Funer-al Home Chapel, Clanton, Alabam-a. Services will be held at Indian Grave Baptist Church, Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Awtrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Indian Grave Cemetery, Billingsley, AL.
