BROWN, Mattie Ann Hindman, 96, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died in her sleep Saturday, August 18, 2001. Preceding her were her husband, David Earmon Brown in 1941 and her grandson George Michael Stambaugh in 1986. Visitation will be at Leak-Memory Monday, August 20, 2001 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Tracy Sprowls officiating. Mattie leaves to remember her daughter, Mildred Brown Stambaugh Holman, a granddaughter, Donna Stambaugh Chow both of Montgomery; and a great-granddaughter, Millie Mei Lin Chow of Venice, CA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the United States. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. Mattie was loved and respected and we will miss her.
