DAVIS, MARY WOODBURN, a long time resident of Orlando, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005. She was born November 14, 1915 in Central City, KY to Dr. and Mrs. Clarence Woodburn. She attended the University of Louisville where she was a Thespian and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She married Mark Davis Sr. in 1940. They moved from Evansville, IN to Orlando in 1950. Their three children were raised in College Park. After her husband's death in 1970, Mary was a realtor with Hoche Realty and opened Adair Real Estate in College Park with her son, Mark in 1979. She was nominated for Orlando Downtown Woman of the Year in 1979. In 1988 she retired to enjoy her love of art and painting. She was an avid bridge player, traveled extensively and in her later years became an accomplished watercolor artist. Mary, or "Mem" as she was known by her family, was small in stature but had a big heart and her family was always the most important part of her life. Mary is survived by her loving sons, David of Atlanta, Mark of Orlando and daughter Martha "Sue" of New Smyrna Beach. She has five grandsons, Michael, William, Mark, Scott, Brian, and six great- grandchildren, Davis, Billy, Michael, Bobby, Gabrielle and Alex. Services will be held at College Park United Methodist Church at 10AM Tuesday. Internment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
