DAVIS, MARY ETHEL TIDWELL Mary Ethel Tidwell "Mimi" Davis, age 82, of Birmingham died on Monday, September 19, 2011 at her residence. She is survived by one sister, Claudean Daniel; one nephew, Kenneth Daniel(Susan); two nieces, Peggy Gregg (Larry) and Romana Sewell,; one great niece, Megan Daniel and one great nephew, Keith Daniel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert B. Davis. Funeral Service for Ms. Davis will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Central Park Baptist Church, 1960 43rd Street, Ensley, AL. 35208. >
