EDWARDS, MARY SHAFFER, 89, of Eustis, FL, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003. Born in South Bend, IN, Mrs. Edwards moved to Florida in 1939 when she married her husband of 64 years, Grady D. Edwards. She is greatly loved by her husband; her children, Grady D. Edwards, Jr. of Eustis, FL, Deanna E. Burner of Melbourne, FL, and Marsha E. Coe of Vienna, VA; grandchildren, Tanya E. Restrepo and Alyson B. Alley of Melbourne, FL, Thomas M. Edwards and Melanie A. Edwards of Orlando, FL, and Tiffany E. Coe of Fairfax, VA. She was an excellent cook and derived great pleasure from fixing fantastic meals. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2004 at 3PM at the First United Methodist Church of Eustis, FL, where she was a long time member, Sunday School teacher and active in the United Methodist Women, through which she touched many lives with her caring spirit. Donations can be made to the National Federation of the Blind, 1800 Johnson Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21230. Arrangements are being handled through Harden- Pauli Funeral Home.
