Mary Ruth Higgins, a 27 year resident of White Plains, NY, died on August 19, 2004 after a short illness. She was 72. Born on February 1, 1932 in Newark, NJ to Edward Higgins and Margaret Gilroy. She worked as an administrative assistant for Texaco, Inc. She is survived by two sisters: Helen Confrey of Stamford, CT and Jeanne Carey of Houston, TX; a niece, Christine DiMauro and three nephews: Thomas Confrey, Richard Confrey and Robert Clonan.
