Mary-Lynn Rogers, conjointe de Deward-Edward Rogers, mère de Melinda, Charles et Charles Warren, est décédée à l'âge de 75 ans.
ROGERS, MARY LYNN, She came into this world as Mary Lynn Thornton on the 1st of October 1930 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi and much to our heartfelt sorrow at the age of 75 departed our company in the early morning hours on Wednesday the 22nd day of February 2006 here in Orlando. To all those that knew and loved her, she lived a life with a strength of will, a depth of heart and broadness of shoulders that culminated as being one of the sweetest songs to ever roll off of the lips of God. As one of six siblings, one sister Minnie Hartley and four brothers Buddy, George Jr., Grady and Paul, born of Bama Rosetta and George Warren Thornton, she grew up in a rural setting as a country girl on the farm. After graduating from High school she attended a two year secretarial program at Drones Business College. Soon after she met Claude Lewis Stuart and in September of 1952 they were married. On December 20 1953 she gave birth to her only child Charles Warren Stuart. In 1956 they moved to Orlando. It is here she began her career as an executive secretary for the Industrial Relations department at the Martin Company in 1957 where she remained for five years. In 1960 her first husband passed away and in 1962 she married Deward Edward Rogers and that began a 43 year relationship that encompassed the best years of her life. The most outstanding of her career accomplishments began in 1972 with her employment by Garner, Barton and Kang PA later known as "Florida Emergency Physicians" as the office manager for the emergency room service billing operations. Here she remained full time until retiring in 1992 then continuing part time until 1995. She always cherished the company of her many friends and dearly loved reading her Daniel Steel novels as well as spending many hours tending the beauty of her yard. Those of her family that remain to carry on are her husband "Rog", her son Charles, her sister Minnie, her brothers George Jr. "Dub", Grady and Paul, her grandchildren Keelan and Jennifer Stuart, her great-grandchild Braedan Stuart and her step daughter Melinda De leon. Memorial services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday the 1st of March 2006 at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral home, located at 301 North East Ivanhoe Blvd. Orlando, FL. 32804 (407) 898-8111. There will be no viewing or grave side service as it was her wish to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a Cancer research institution of your choice would be appreciated. A small appetizer buffet will be provided on premises afterwards for those wishing to stay and share memories.
