of Peekskill, died October 13, 2001. She was 86. Mrs. Gray was born April 10, 1915, in Union City, NJ to Samuel J. and Margaret Rankin Wilson. She was a teacher for 35 years, 14 years of that she taught math at the Hendrick Hudson High School, before retiring in 1971. She has lived in Peekskill since 1957 and was a member of the Peekskill Presbyterian Church, NYS Retired Teachers, Peekskill Area Retired Teachers, N.R.T.A.- Division of A.A.R.P., the Women's Society of the Peekskill Presbyterian Church, The Travelers Club and a former auxiliary member of the Peekskill Community Hospital. She graduated from Smith College where she was a member of the Alumni Association and the Smith Club of Westchester and graduated from Connecticut College. Mrs. Gray is survived by two nieces, Jean Wilson McCartney and Dolores Wilson Coviello and two nephews, Woodrow and Stephen Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, Allyn B. Gray and a brother, Sam Wilson. Funeral services 11:00 am Thursday at the Peekskill Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends at the E.O CURRY FUNERAL HOME 313 No. James St. Peekskill on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
