Mary Jane Smith of Yonkers, NY died on February 12, 2001 at St. Johns Riverside Hospital at the age of 69. She was born on December 19, 1931 in Leaksville, North Carolina to Elizabeth Plante Hebert and Joseph Hebert, Sr. who both predeceased her. Beloved wife of Harold E. Smith, Sr. who predeceased her in 1982. She attended schools in Yonkers and worked for the New York Telephone Company. She is also predeceased by 2 brothers Edward Hebert and Henry Hebert and one sister Doris Chwanda. She is survived by 2 loving sons, Jeffrey C. Smith of Yonkers, NY, Harold E. Smith, Jr., daughter-in-law Marilyn Smith, and (1) grandchild Cayla Smith all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Armand Hebert of Chittenango, NY, Joseph Hebert, Jr. of Pawling, NY, 3 sisters, Shirley Pantalemon of Yonkers, NY, Lillian Byrnes of Yonkers, NY and Mrs. Betty Jean Spence of Clinton Corners, NY. Niece and goddaughter Shirley Marie Holder and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, February 15, 2001 from 7-9 pm at FLYNN MEMORIAL HOME, INC., 1652 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10710 (914)963-5178. Mass on Friday, February 16, 2001, 10 am, at St. Mary's Church, 103 South Broadway, Yonkers, NY. Interment Ferncliff Crematory, Hartsdale.
