Mary Jane Moroney, a resident of Rye, NY, died December 6, 2002. She was 91 and born May 28, 1911 in County Leitrim, Ireland to the late Patrick and Sarah McNabola Guckian. She immigrated to the United States in 1930 and settled in Rye. She became a naturalized citizen April 6, 1967. She was married to Mr. Michael J. Moroney who died in 1972. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection in Rye. She is survived by her sons, Patrick and John Moroney, both of Rye, NY, and grandchildren Robert, Jennifer, Scott and Erin Moroney and Christina Dunn; great-grandchildren: Samatha and Bailey Moroney. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 9th, 2002, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Boston Post Road, Rye, NY.
