BROWN, Mary Etta Mahaffey, 52, a resident of Union Springs, AL, died Sunday, May 27, 2001 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. from Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Cary Sanders and Rev. Max Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Union Springs Perpetual Care Cemetery. She is survived by her mother, Vera Green Mahaffey of Eufaula, AL; one sister, Elaine Mahaffey Locklar of Eufaula, AL; one brother, James Mahaffey of Union Springs, AL and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
