JOHNSON, MARY ELIZABETH died peacefully on October 9, 2010. She is survived by her loving son, Robert Johnson Jr. (Dawn); her loving brother, Frank Johnson; one granddaughter (Kenya); two great-granddaughters, Dannie and Danelle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for 61 years. Mary also enjoyed her friends at Avenue Plaza and served as president of the building for several years. The lord also brought Mary into the lives of the Strause Family. She often spoke of them as her very own children. She was known to them as Mar Mar. Randy (Renee, Randy Jr., Austin, Cameron), Janey (Peter, Kelly, Megan, Sydney), and of course the twins, Torey (Sarah, Cody, Caroline, Cole) and Todd (Michel, Taylor, Loghean, Baylee). Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1349 Catalpa St., with burial in Louisville Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W.
