STEPHENS, MARY ELIZABETH GASTON Stephens, Mary Elizabeth Gaston age 96, went to her heavenly home to be reunited with her beloved husband, Harry Lee and son, Harry Wayne; parents, Joe and Genie Gaston; brothers, Beverly Gaston and Wiley Gaston, on April 5, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Sondra Cochran (Don); daughter-in-law, Joan Stephens; grandchildren, Don Cochran, Jr. (Tammy), Dana Langford, Lee Stephens (Kelley), Renee' Riley (Chuck); twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Acton, Charlotte Thompson; brothers, Wilbur Gaston, Warren Gaston, Gene Gaston; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she taught the Mary-Martha Sunday School Class. She retired from Parisians, was a Past President of the Huffman Garden Club and enjoyed painting in her later years. She lived her life "Worthy of the Lord to please Him in everyway: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:9-10. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, followed by a Celebration of Her Life at 2:00pm.
