an Eastchester resident for 70 years, died peacefully at her home on October 6, 2001. Loving mother of Alice and her husband Phil White of Tuckahoe, and George Leslie Heins and his wife Jacqueline R. Heins, of Ohio. Dear mother-in-law Marjorie Heins of Virginia and Carol Heins of Connecticut. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband John Milton Heins I, her sons John Milton Heins II and Edward Charles Heins, and her grandson Philip J. White. Mary was a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was affectionately known to her friends and family as "Grandma Ree". A memorial service was held for the family.
