DALE, Mary Alice, age 78, of Oak Hill died Thursday, January 05, 2006 at a Montgomery hospital.Born June 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James Bor-oughs Dale and Ruth Bonner Dale. She graduated from Moore Acade-my in 1945 and from Alabama Col-lege in 1949 receiving a bachelor's degree in Education. She taught high school in Beatrice and Orrville. After retiring she became em-ployed with the Wilcox County De-partment of Pensions and Securities (now the Alabama Department of Human Resources), from which she retired in 1980 as director. She was a lifelong and devoted member of the Bethel Associate Re-formed Presbyterian Church, where she served as adult Sunday school superintendent and was a member of the church Choir and the Wom-en of the Church. Survivors include a sister, Margaret Louise (Bunnie) Dale of the home, four aunts, Sara Cole Dale Small and Clara Dale Hutchenson, both of Selma, Avis Myrick Dale of Oak Hill, and Lois Ward Bonner of Cam-den, an uncle, Albert Winston Dale (Doris) of Pike Road, and a host of cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Bethel Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Pastor Henry Lewis Smith officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will fol-low in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Bethel A.R.P. Church or to the Helping Hand Fund, c/o Bethel A.R.P.
