MARTHA O. WILLIAMS of New MildfordMartha O. Willliams, 94, of New Milford, Pa., formerly of Haworth, N.J., passed away on January 18, 2001, in Scranton, Pa. She was the wife of Norman H. Williams, who predeceased her on December 21, 2000. Surviving are a son, Norman R. Williams and his wife, Michele Crown, Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren, Zachary, Mercersburg, Pa., and Oliver, Washington, D.C., and several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Columbia University Teachers College. She taught 40 years in the New York City public school system, most recently at the Julia Richman High School for girls. She retired in 1965. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 23, 2001, at 2 p.m., at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, Pa., with Pastor Craig Mark, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Great Bend, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of the service.
