Marie Dorothy Curtis of Ossining, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Marie was born on November 13, 1918 to Frederick and Marie (Weigel) Newsum in the Bronx, NY. Marie worked for New York Central Railroad as a secretary for 26 years retiring in 1969. She was an active member of the Croton Caring Committee. Marie will be missed by her family and friends and especially her cat Clark. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill Curtis and her Uncle Harold Weigel. There will be a gathering of friends at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY, on Wednesday, November 25th from 9:30a to 10:30 am and a funeral service at 10:30 am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
