MARGOT WELLSCOX, 64Lakeland Regional Medical Center LAKELAND - Mrs. Margot W. Cox passed away Monday August 27, 2012 due to heart failure. She was born in Birmingham, AL, and moved to Lakeland at a young age from Charlotte, NC. Margot worked for 28 years as a medical laboratory technologist at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She graduated from Lakeland High School in 1966 and then from Andrews College in Cuthbert, GA. Margot was a member of A.S.C.P. and was a 28 gallon donor at the Blood Bank. She is survived by her husband, James W. Cox of Lakeland, daughters, Anna M. Cox of Gainesville, FL, Paula E. Davis of Key West, FL, sister, Paula MacGillis of Tallahassee, FL, brother, O. Fenton Wells of NC, grandchildren, Adam, Aiden & Attison. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 - 3:30pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd.
