BARRETT, Mrs. Margaret P., age 63, a resident of Deatsville, AL died on Thursday, May 10, 2006. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Rus-sell and Rev. Chris Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Coosa River Cemetery with Ellison Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mrs. Barrett was a member of Shoal Creek Bap-tist Church where she taught Sun-day School and Vacation Bible School. She is survived by her hus-band, Joe Barrett of Deatsville, AL; son, Joseph A. (Jody÷ Barrett of Ti-tus, AL; step-daughter, Linda Smith of Herndon, VA; brothers, Jim Par-nell of Jackson, AL, Harry Parnell of Mobile, AL and Jerry Parnell of Grand Bay, AL; six grandchildren, Kurt and Justin Young of DeRidder, LA, Michelle and Chris Smith of Herndon, VA, Garth and Jeromy Barrett of New Orleans, LA; one great-grandchild; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Flowers will be accepted or the family request memorial contributions to Shoal Creek Baptist Church, 13214 Holt-ville Road, Deatsville, AL 36022. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ellison Funeral Home.
