Margaret Murphy, 87, died Feb. 2, 2013, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Austin, Texas. Before retirement, she was an English teacher at Sharps Town High School, Houston, for 35 years. She served in the WAVES during World War II. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Edward Murphy of Vero Beach; daughters, Priscilla Stork Fulmer of Vero Beach and Lisa Stork Thornton of Autec Bahamas; sons, George Stork and Edward Tres Stork, both of Rockport, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
