CRAIG, MARGARET E., 87Ocala - Margaret E. Craig, 87, Ocala, died peacefully at her Ocala residence on Monday, July 1, 2013. Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York on July 10, 1925, daughter of Clifford and Julia (Roberts) Craig, she moved to Ocala from Rosedale, NY in January 1984. She was a chief telephone operator with AT&T of Manhattan, NY for 37 years, retiring in 1980. Margaret was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala. She had a real love for animals as well as people and was always cheerful. She is survived by her friend Margaret McArdle of Ocala. A Mass will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 8:30AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala. Burial will be at a later date at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, L.I., NY.
