WHITEN, MARGARET ALICE Age 92, of McCalla, AL, died Saturday, March 12, 2011. Mrs. Whiten was a native of Hueytown and lived most of her life in Fairfield Highlands. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Whiten was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Whiten; daughter, Bonnie Snow; and grandson, Jerrod Feltham; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Waldrop. She is survived by her two daughters, Fredyce (Clarence) Smith of Helena, AL and Jerri (Rodney) Feltham of McCalla, AL; four grandchildren, Chip Snow, Jan Hull, Danny Smith, and Ginger Hammitt; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16 at 12 Noon at Valhalla Chapel with Dr. Levan Parker officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home. >
