WILLIAMS, Mrs. Mae Burkett, age 82, a resident of Georgiana, AL., died Saturday, December 22, 2001. She is survived by her husband; Sidney Williams of Georgiana, AL., son; Ronald Burkett and wife Charlotte of Birmingham, AL., sisters; Doris Andrews of Montgomery, AL., Laurie Hall of Montgomery, AL., brother Jack Lee of Montgomery, AL., and grandson; Mark Burkett, of Birmingham, AL. The family will be accepting flowers and contributions can also be made to Wire Grass Hospice, Oak Grove Methodist Church, and Union Cemetery. Services will be held on December 26, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson's Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL. Visitation will be held on December 25, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Union Cemetery with Johnson's Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL., directing.
