JOHNSON, M. LOUISE, 79Gainesville - M. Louise Johnson, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 in E.T. York Care Center. She was born June 24, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to Grant Neil Byce, Sr., and Lonnie Beatrice Phillips Byce. Louise married Charles Edward Johnson on July 28, 1951. She was a caregiver for her mother. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Louise worked most of her life in the financial industry. Her husband's work took them to many places where she never knew a stranger and still has many of those friends. She moved to Gainesville twelve years ago, after living in the Orlando area for many years. Louise was a member of Christian Life Fellowship of Newberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Johnson in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Louise Snyder of Leesburg, FL; sons, Charles Edward Johnson, Jr., of Gainesville, FL and Brian Chet Johnson of Trenton, FL; brother, Grant Neil Byce, Jr., of Douglas, GA; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Joe, Brian, Bobby and Jessica and 8 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Pastor Gary Bracewell officiating.
