M. Jean Wilson, 80, of New Smyrna Beach died Monday, March 14, 2011 with her family by her side. Jean was born October 31, 1930 in Nitro, West Virginia and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1962 from Merritt Island. Jean became active at the New Smyrna Beach Municipal Golf Club where she was past President of the Women's Golf Association, member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #3, New Smyrna Beach and member of the Coronado Baptist Church. She also enjoyed competitive Horseback competition and was a founding and lifetime member of the Sandspur Riding Club and loved riding her tractor. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, C. James Wilson; devoted son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Diane Keyser and her beloved dog, Harley all of New Smyrna Beach and five siblings, Jack Henderson, Cecil Henderson, Pearle McCoy, Louella Henderson and Virginia Dortch.
