Avis de décès de Lynn Wilson

PINEY FLATS, Tenn. - Lynn Cadle Wilson entered eternal rest on November 26, 2014 at her home in Piney Flats, Tennessee. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Lynn chose a career in nursing which suited her natural gifts of encouraging and caring for others. She began her career at University Hospital in Labor and Delivery. Later she joined the staff at The Augusta Surgical Group and worked with Drs. Conrad Sanders and Louis Griffin. Her most fulfilling and rewarding position was as the office nurse of Dr. Michael Willoughby where she demonstrated her unique compassion and provided extraordinary care to every patient, no matter the malady. Lynn became personally and spiritually involved in the lives of each of her patients, prompting her family to call her our own Saint Luke. Lynn will be remembered for her limitless and never ending love, her ability to connect with everyone from all walks of life, and her talent for enabling each person she met to feel special. Many family members and friends were the recipients of Lynn's heartfelt love and tender care. She faced her long battle with cancer as she did all matters in life, with courage and a positive attitude. Lynn's presence and spirit, along with her genuine and comforting laugh, will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wesley Cadle Sr. Survivors include her devoted husband of 33 years, Tim Wilson, and her children April Parrish of Augusta, Ga. and William Goodwin (Zine) of Hollywood, Florida. Additional survivors include her mother, Rhetta Lane Cadle of Evans, Ga.; her sister, Suzanne Strehle (Tom) of Seabrook Island, SC.; her brother, Wesley Cadle (Ransom Snellings) of Augusta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Jessica Lang, Brittany Wirtz, Delta and Bethany Pennington and Ethan Goodwin; her step child, Dori Pennington (Jon); and her former daughter-in-law, Michelle Kirby of Seneca, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Pat and Larry Hillman. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Christ Church Episcopal (1904 Greene Street, Augusta, Georgia 30904; 706.736.5165). The Reverend Lynn Prather and Reverend Ken Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parish Hall. Memorials may be made to the good works of Christ Episcopal Church chchraug@comcast.net
