OBITUARY LYNN HENDERSON (nee WILSON) Passed away June 13, 2011. Loving mother of Katie, Lisa, Peter and Sean, who were all home to celebrate her birthday. She will also be missed by her brother, Lex, and by Steve, Tom and Kelly, who did not think of her as a mother-in-law. Born June 11, 1933, Lynn grew up in St. Mary's, Ontario, studied drama in Banff, and worked as an actor during the first years of Stratford's Shakespeare Festival. There, she met Peter Henderson. When they divorced, Lynn became one of the first female broadcasters at CBC Montreal, where for 25 years she read news, introduced late-night films on Cine-Camp and interviewed local artists on radio's Saturday Spotlight. A writer and supporter of the arts all her life, Lynn graduated with a BA from Concordia University in 1995. In retirement, she continued to share her imagination, her creativity, and her interpretation of life and art with grandchildren, Lauren, Aris, Oscar and Cleveland. Following instructions, her body has been donated to science. Friends are invited to join in the celebration of Lynn's life at her home on Sunday, July 24, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider The Montreal Chest Institute( tinyurl.com/DonationLynn ).
