Retired Coal Miner GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, November 10, 2003, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Mr. Luther Johnson, 78, husband of Mrs. Alice Johnson, of Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003, in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens, near Grovetown, with the Rev. Donald Prosser officiating. Mr. Johnson, a native of Mohawk, West Virginia, had retired from West Virginia coal mines. Additional survivors include two sons, Billy Jack Johnson, Atlanta, and Bobby Johnson, Grovetown; two daughters, Diane Ginter, Orlando, Fla., and Linda Shumate, Grovetown; and eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
