A native of Asheville she was a daughter of the late Will and Estelle Aiken.Left to cherish her memory are children, Gerald" Rip" Smith, Alvin "Stone", William Billy Smith, Cathey "Cat" Smith, Louise "Winky" Smith, Janice " Jenny" Smith Stella and spouses, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grand children, thirteen great great- great grandchildren two sisters, a brother, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friendsSurviving are her sons, Gerald, Alvin and William; daughters, Cathy, Louise, Janice Jenny Smith and Stella , brother, William Aiken; sisters, Juanita Aiken and Barbara Robinson; other relatives and friends.Services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Nazareth First Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Freddie Johnson will officiate, burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1-B Southern St. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Service.
