Lula Laing Anderson QUINCY - Lula Laing Anderson, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, in Tallahassee. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, B. E. "Andy" Anderson. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Friday at Centenary United Methodist Church in Quincy, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. EST today at Independent Funeral Home (875-1529).Memorial contributions may be made to Florida Methodist Children's Home, c/o Centenary United Methodist Church, 206 N. Madison St., Quincy 32351. She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden County. She retired from Gadsden County Nursing Home after 25 years of service and also owned a catering service. Other survivors include a son, Bob Anderson of St. Petersburg Beach; a daughter, Deborah A. Mooney of Tallahassee; a sister, Jeanette Laing Patterson of Quincy; two grandchildren, Amy M. Robbins and Michael A. Aniello; two great-grandchildren, Alexandra Laing M. Robbins and Rylee Thomas J. Robbins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
