CARTER, Luella May(nee Sims)August 9, 1923 - February 3, 2015Born to the union of Adelaide Timbers and John Sims. Embraced by eternal love, our beautiful matriarch has left us to be re-united with her husband Orian (1985), two sons Willis (1949) and John (1957), daughter and son-in-law Valerie (Du Four) and James Lloyd, granddaughters; Louise and Dana, siblings/in-laws; Vivian and Lawrence Levi, Amos and Vera Sims, Irene and Wellington Holland, John Sims Jr., Evelyn and Howard Harris, and Annie Sims wife of surviving brother Robert. She leaves to mourn her in memory, eight children; Joanne, Orian, Lawrence, Beverly, Terry-Paul, Carol, Mary and David. Daughters-in-law; Anna, Valerie (Desjardins), Cathy, son-in-law Bobby, and a legacy of 25 grandchildren, 63 great- grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves an abundance of nieces and nephews. She will never be forgotten, for we keep her in our hearts eternally! A heartfelt thank you to her nephew Timothy Coates for being her personal muse. If you so desire, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
