Lucy Mae Williams 61, died Jan. 11, 2010, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. She was born in Bairn, Miss., and lived in Fort Pierce since the 1970s, coming from Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Huewitt Williams of Buffalo, N.Y.; sons, Bruce Williams, James Williams and Bobby Williams, all of Fort Pierce; daughters, Birda Mae Matthews of Bridgeton, N.J., and Belinda Young of Fort Pierce; brother, Abel Matthews of Fort Pierce; sister, Birda Mae Phillps of Topeka, Kan; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Norwood Matthews; and mother, Birtha Mae Evans. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 22 and 9 to 11 a.m. Jan 23 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel in Fort Pierce. A service will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 24 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
