TRENTON - Lucy Mae Harris, 97, of Trenton, died Monday at home with loved ones by her side.Born and educated in Shorterville, Ala., Mrs. Harris was affectionately known as "Sug" and "Granny."She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church until her health failed. She retired from The Wood School of Langhorne, Pa. with over 35 years of dedicated service.She was predeceased by her parents, Monk and Gussie Ree Turner, seven brothers and six sisters. She is survived by two loving daughters, Julie Lawrence and Ollie McKinney with whom she resided; four grandsons, E.K. Gary Jr., Johnnie Stokes Jr., Donald Stokes and Jan Stokes; three granddaughters, Carolyn Gary, Patricia Stokes-Combs and Cheryl Haigler; 13 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be Friday, May 18, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 125 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chapel.
