Lucille Marie Germaine Wilson (nee Lambert)January 23, 1926 – July 30, 2014The children of Lucille; Anita (Ron), Frank (Jo-Ann) and Howard (Esther) along with grandchildren Kimberley (Cody), Matthew, Elizabeth, Suzanne, Chantelle, Amy, Taylor, Thomas, Bennett (Catherine) Sophia, Sebastian, and great-grandchild Suttyn announce the one year anniversary of the passing of Lucille. Her love and generosity to her family was second to none. Lucille''s generosity still lives on as she has donated her body to the Department of Anatomy at the U of A. Since 1972, she suffered many bouts of cancer, but beat the odds every time. She was a fighter. Lucille had many things she loved to do and she wore many hats. She was the pie lady, the cards lady and garage sale lady to name a few. She loved to make soup but whatever she was making you were sure to go home with some of her fantastic cooking or baking. She loved to dance, go fishing, play cards, travel, visit with friends and relatives, but her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She taught us all to be the best we could be and was very proud of her whole family. We all have a huge part of her love of life. She wanted us not to mourn but to go on with our lives and be kind to one another. Lucille is dearly missed by her brothers and sisters and their families, friends, and most of all her immediate family. Lucille will always be missed but with the wonderful memories she has provided us, we can smile and look up to the heavens and cherish the times we had and the endless love she gave. Not goodbye but till we meet again. We love you!
