BENNETT, Lucille – At her residence on Monday, December 29, 2008. Lucille Pauline (Nadeau) Bennett of 120 Augustus Street; formerly of 701 Montreal Road (Nadeau’s Beauty Salon); age 88 years. Dear mother of Larry Gabri (Sheila) and Charlene Bennett both of Cornwall. Predeceased by one daughter, Carole Bennett. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late John Nadeau and the late Albertha Brisson. Dear sister, Lucienne (Lucy) Kirkey (late Ashley) of Kelowna, BC. Predeceased by four brothers, Richard, Laurent, Raynald. and Aurele Nadeau. Rested privately at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) followed by cremation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 in St. Francis de Sales Church at 10 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
