Lucille F. Hegstrom MillerSt. George, UtahLucille F. Hegstrom Miller left her earthly home Friday, May 17, 2013, surrounded by her husband and all her children. She was born in Ogden, UT on February 19, 1937 to parents, Harvey Rasmus Hegstrom, Sr. and Sarah Lucile Stephensen Hegstrom.Lucille was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Weber High School after which she attended Weber State College and graduated as an RN; a career in which she excelled for nearly 50 years. She married H. Lewis Miller, Sr. July 18, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.Lucille was a devoted, loving mother who managed her career and family seamlessly throughout her lifetime. Lucille will be remembered as a kind friend, wonderful cook, talented quilter and seamstress as well as an accomplished musician. Lucille was an active member of the LDS Church her entire life. She loved to serve others and always had a beautiful smile for them. Her husband's career offered her the opportunity to live in many places around the world. She also enjoyed traveling. One of the highlights of her retirement years was her daily hikes with friends. She also enjoyed her part-time job at a local quilt store.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harvey R. Hegstrom, Jr. She is survived by her husband, H. Lewis Miller, Sr. of St. George; children; H. Lewis (Sheri) Miller, Jr., Newnan, GA, Rebecca (Clark) Geranios, Santa Clara, UT and Karen Louise (Dyke) Huish, Mission Viejo, CA; and sisters; Louise Coleman and Karen (Bart) Manning. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Tuesday evening, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. both at Metcalf Mortuary.
