MILLER, Lucille Lenore "Lucy," 71, of Sebring, Fla., and formerly of Union Cityand Coldwater, Mich., passed away peacefully, surround-ed by her loving family, Monday, March 15, 2010, in Sebring, Fla., at Highlands Regional Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1938, in Sherwood Towhship, Mich., the daughter of Jacob Franklin Herman and Mildred Vivian (Applegate) Herman. She is survived by her husband, David N. Miller; two sons: Kirk and Linda Miller of Houston, Texas, and David James (D.J.) and Raisa Miller of Key Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Rebecca and Les Weaver of Houston and Lucinda Miller of Loveland, Colo.; 11 grand-children; one sister; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought great joy to her in later years. Lucy was preceded in death by her mother, her father, her sister, Barbara Ann Herman, and her niece, Vivica Marie Bennett. Lucy was raised on the family farm in Sherwood and graduated from Union City High School in 1956. When she was younger she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Union City, which her parents helped establish. She lived and worked in the Coldwater area until 1981, when the family moved to Key Largo, Fla. Memorial tributes may be made to Hope Hospice of Sebring, in care of Mary L.
