Lucille Brown Ashmore Davis, 92, of 120 Roper Mountain Road, formerly of Taylors, died Oct. 15, 2003, at Saint Francis Hospital. Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ambrouse Claude and Mary Tollison Brown. She was the widow of Junius R. Ashmore and was the current wife of Otto Davis. She was a private duty L.P.N. and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth A. Davis, of Greenville; four sisters, Lois B. Timmons, Edith Brown, Grace B. Styles and Josie B. Brezeale, all of Greenville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Lynn Dillard; and a brother, Ray Brown. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 1115 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, with visitation to follow the service.
