AUGUSTA -- A Mass of Christian Burial for Lucienne Beaulieu, who died Aug. 18, 2005, was celebrated Saturday morning at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Boisvert, parochial vicar, officiating. Altar server was William Ellis. Organist was Kathy Brooks and soloist was granddaughter Michelle Caliandro.The first reading was given by a grandson, Richard Roussel, and the second reading was given by a grandson, Scott Sirois. Taking part in the offertory procession were a granddaughter, Lisa Sirois, grandson Paul Nadeau, and a son, Butch Beaulieu.The eulogy was given by son Butch Beaulieu.There were representatives from St. Augustine parish, Cushnoc Senior Citizens, Ladies of St. Anne Society, Augusta Civic Center, Happy Family Senior Citizens, the Veterans Affairs Hospital at Togus, Central Maine Power Co., Damon's and Dr. Thomas Cook's office.Honorary pallbearers were a grandson, Paul Belanger, and, representing the Ladies of St. Anne Society were Shirley Rocque, Rita Dostie, Christine Dupuis and Lorraine Philbrick.Active pallbearers, all grandsons, were Danny Nadeau, Richard Roussel, Steven Sirois, Brian Beaulieu, Shawn Dumont and Jacob Barnes.Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery where the Rev. Boisvert offered the committal prayers.Arrangements were under the direction of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
