Lucie Bernard (5-9-1916 - 27-11-2013) Publié le jeudi 28 novembre 2013 Bouctouche, NB – Lucie Bernard, 97, passed away peacefully at the City Hospital in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in St-Ignace, NB on September 5, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and late Émelie (Robichaud) Richard. Lucie will be sadly missed by her son, Irois (Denise) of St-Grégoire; her three daughters, Murielle Redford (Richard), Eva-May Cormier (Aldérice) both of Bouctouche and Rosemonde Maillet (Jean-Marie) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; her sister, Yvonne Gallant (late Élie) of Lewiston, USA; her eight grandchildren, Murielle, Brian, Greg, Jeff, Carole, Nicole, Marcelle and Martine; her ten great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ernest; one brother, André; three sisters, Bertha, Marie, Marguerite. Visitations will be at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent RC Church slumber room in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
