Lucie Margaret Harris (Lehouillier) Dec. 8, 1921 - Aug. 14, 2014 Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 with all her family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Bill in 1984 and grandchildren Dana 1971, Timmy 1979, Brian 1991 and son in law Ken in 2008 and 7 brothers, Laurier, Germain, Rene, Bruno, Gerard, Bertrand and Luc. Lovingly missed by her children Bill (Margot), Sheila Shaw, Gail (Jim) Hestermann, Keith, Sherry (Ken) Simms, her two brothers, Leo (Alice), Emile (Florence) and many nieces and nephews. Born in Ormeaux, Saskatchewan in 1921 she moved to BC where she met and married Bill Harris. They had five children and settled in Surrey, BC. Mom worked at Woodland School in the dietary department. After Dad's death, Mom travelled and discovered life. Mom had 18 grandchildren and 20 Greatgrand Children. She lived independently in her home until diagnosed with Alzheimer's then moved to Fleetwood Place. Our heartfelt thanks to ALL the staff at Fleetwood Place in Surrey, BC who made the last few years of Mom's life full of fun and enjoyment. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11 AM at the Surrrey Christadelphian Hall, 15582 96th Ave. Surrey, BC. Tea to follow.
