Mittie Louise Smith, 77, Country Heritage Assisted Living and Oakmont Nursing. Passed away Friday, July 6, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of Carlie Joshua Holden and Emma Mae Holden. She was self-employed and enjoyed traveling, fishing and watching golf. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Smith Bagwell, and Danny Bagwell of Greenville. Grandchildren: Melissa and Jeff Packard and Danny Scott Bagwell and Julie, and three great-grandchildren, Ross, Rachel and Griffin. Brother Harold and Mary Holden of Powdersville and very special friends Margaret Townsend and Lora Merritt. She was predeceased by her mother, father and seven brothers: James, Tillman, Louie, Walden, Orville, Oliver and Horace Holden. The family will be at the home of the daughter, 4202 Old Buncombe Road. Funeral services will be July 9 at 3 p.m. at PalmettoCare, 328 Dupont Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, and visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m.
