SMITH, Louise On July 19, 2003, Louise Smith of Edmonton passed away at the age of 83 years. Louise Smith (nee Bain) Mcleod, born in Medicine Hat April 17, 1920 passed away the evening of July 19, 2003 at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton. She is survived by her sisters Marg and Jean Lefever and families; sister-in-law Rhoda Bain and family in Medicine Hat; daughter Janis (Gregg) Pilling of Edmonton; grandson Dan Pilling and wife Lori of Calgary; stepson Roy and Bonnie Smith and family of Taber; stepdaughter Cheryl (Brian) Farrell and family of Calgary; granddaughter Cheryl (Gerald) Bursey of Stony Plain; along with their two children Scott and Leah; grandson Don and Jacquie Smythe and their three children Jordanna, Colten and Brett of St. Albert; also numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lou was predeceased by her husband Daniel Smith; parents Margaret and James Bain; daughter Margaret Smythe; and brother James Bain. A Memorial Service will be held in the Wild Rose Chapel at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home (10011 - 114 Street) on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Glenn Ball officiating.
