RICHARDSON, Louise Frisbie Louise Richardson, 94, passed away on April 8, 2010 in Pleasanton, California. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. She was born on December 14, 1915 to Edward and Jessie Frisbie in Redding, California. She received a BA in English from UC Berkeley in 1937 and married the late John Reginald Richardson in 1938. Louise worked with the Oakland Shipyard computers during WWII. In 1946, the Richardsons moved to Southern California (Malibu) where Dr. Richardson worked as a professor of Physics at UCLA. Louise also enjoyed the years spent in Vancouver where Dr. Richardson worked at TRIUMF and where she was a member of the UBC French Group. She loved spending long periods of time at their summer home on Galiano Island. Her favorite activities were travel, which she did extensively, reading, gardening, collecting and crafts. Louise devoted her life to her husband and her two daughters. She had an inquiring mind to the end. She is survived by her two daughters: Pamela Chrisman (Ken) of Pleasanton, California; Barbara McKenzie (Donald) of Richmond; grandchildren: Karl Chrisman (Tamara) of Livermore, California; Brian Chrisman (Hanyi) of San Jose, California; Michelle Frank (Matt) of Pleasanton, California; Grant McKenzie of Richmond; Kari-Jean McKenzie of Richmond and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 17 at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, California.
